We invite stakeholders to join the upcoming ACT4CAP27 Thematic Webinar on the Digitalisation and Competitiveness Fast-Track Scenario, taking place online on Tuesday, 22 September 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM CEST.
The webinar will provide an opportunity to explore how digitalisation and technological innovation could shape the competitiveness and future development of EU agriculture. We will present the key assumptions, modelling approach and preliminary results of the fast-track scenario, with a particular focus on the technologies considered and their potential adoption, costs and impacts.
A central part of the event will be an open stakeholder discussion. We will seek feedback on the technologies currently included in the modelling exercise, their expected medium-term uptake and potential effects, while also gathering views on technologies and developments that may not yet be captured. These insights will help us refine the scenario assumptions and strengthen the ongoing modelling work.
The discussion will be moderated by colleagues from the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC), providing an important link between stakeholder perspectives and the analytical work underpinning the scenario.
We will conclude the webinar by bringing together the key messages and outlining how stakeholder input will feed into the next steps of the ACT4CAP27 modelling work.
Save the date: 22 September 2026, 10:00 AM–12:30 PM CEST, online.
Further information and the registration details will follow.
