The ACT4CAP Work Package Leaders convened for their March 2026 meeting to review project progress and coordinate upcoming activities.
Period 1 Report Approved
We are pleased to announce that the European Commission has accepted the RP1 technical and financial report of the first 18 months of our project run. This milestone triggers the release of EU funding to all project partners, marking successful completion of the first reporting phase.
Stakeholder Event: 22 April 2026
Save the date for our upcoming online stakeholder event on 22 April 2026 (10:00–12:00 CET) organised by ECORYS. The event will feature two interactive sessions exploring policy-relevant scenarios: one focused on sugar taxation and its implications for EU food systems, and another examining biodiversity considerations in agricultural policy. Registration is open until 31 March 2026 — we welcome participation from policymakers, researchers, and stakeholders across the agri-food sector.
Annual Meeting 2027: Berlin
We are excited to announce that the next ACT4CAP27 Annual Meeting will take place in Berlin hosted by the Thünen Institute at Humboldt University in March 2027. The meeting is planned to be held back-to-back with the CAPRI developer meeting, offering excellent networking opportunities for the modelling community.
Policy Brief in Development
Work is underway on the project’s third policy brief, expected in summer 2025. Drawing on outputs from fast-track scenario analyses and stakeholder consultations, this brief will offer actionable insights for EU agricultural and food policy. Looking Ahead
The consortium continues to make strong progress across all work packages, with draft working papers on fast-track scenarios due in June 2025 and the next exploitation workshop is planned for autumn.
