On 26 November 2025, Peter Havlik of the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) is invited by Josephinum in Wieselburg, Austria, to present the ACT4CAP27–BrightSpace–LAMASUS joint perspective paper (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.16413131) as the keynote address at the annual Innovation Farm Strategy Board (IFSB) Meeting.
The IFSB meeting brings together leading representatives from industry, science, and politics to discuss strategic orientations for the future of agricultural innovation. Havlik’s keynote highlights the paper’s integrated insights on future EU agricultural and climate policy pathways, emphasizing the need for coherent, cross-sector collaboration to support sustainable transitions in the agri-food system.
Josephinum, an established AgEng research institution in Wieselburg (https://www.josephinum.at), leads the Innovation Farm initiative (www.innovationfarm.at), a national platform dedicated to exploring, testing, and demonstrating cutting-edge technologies for agriculture. The event provides an important forum for connecting research-based perspectives with practical solutions emerging from farm-level innovation.
Havlik’s contribution supports ongoing dialogue on how evidence-based policy, advanced technologies, and system-level thinking can drive resilient and sustainable agriculture in Austria and across Europe.
