ACT4CAP27 Heads to the EAAE Congress in Bonn │ 26–29 August 2025

We are delighted to announce that ACT4CAP27 will be actively represented at the upcoming 18th EAAE Congress, taking place in Bonn, Germany, from 26 to 29 August 2025. This landmark event will gather 700–1,000 agricultural economists, researchers, and policy experts to exchange knowledge and debate the future of food system transformation — coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the EAAE.

Several ACT4CAP27 colleagues will be present in Bonn, inlcuding:

  • Cristina Vaquero Pineiro (UNIROMA3) will contribute with the presentation “The impact of agriculture on climate change: a review of approaches to modelling agricultural emissions.”
  • Davit Stepanyan (Thünen Institute) will present his ACT4CAP27-related research on “The Impacts of the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism on Agriculture.”
  • Ferike Thom (Thünen Institute) will also join the discussions and networking.

The Congress offers a unique opportunity to connect with peers, policymakers, and modelling experts, and to showcase how ACT4CAP27 contributes to building stronger analytical capacity for sustainable and evidence-based agri-food policies in Europe.

👉 Don’t miss the chance to meet our team members in Bonn — an ideal moment to explore collaboration and discuss how modelling can support the sustainable transformation of European agriculture.
