The ACT4CAP27 work package leaders held a coordination meeting on 15 April 2025 to review progress and align next steps. A major focus was on advancing the fast-track scenario work in WP6, with the goal of having initial results by February 2026. The notes from the first stakeholder workshop have been synthesised and shared with modelling teams, covering scenarios on the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), biodiversity, health, and urban agriculture. Final comments from modelling teams have been received, and an upcoming WP6 meeting will consolidate these into a final scenario set for presentation to DG AGRI.
Preparations for the online stakeholder consultation on 6 May are progressing well, following a preparatory meeting held on 9 April. The draft agenda and concept note were reviewed. Inputs are being gathered to ensure relevant visuals and materials are ready for the event.
Work package updates confirm that project activities remain on track. WP1 is finalising its conceptual framework and progressing on policy and indicator mapping. WP2 is testing the first data sets in the health module. WP3 reported developments on modelling inputs related to fertilizers, pesticides, and antibiotics, as well as initial exploration of food value chains and global supply linkages. WP4 is preparing a key deliverable due in May, and WP5 continues to implement training sessions. WP7 provided updates on communications, including website refreshes, translated flyers, and upcoming newsletter in May, and policy brief due in August. WP8 is preparing for the 18-month technical and financial reporting deadline in October.
