As ACT4CAP27 approaches its first anniversary, preparations are in full swing for the project’s Annual Consortium Meeting, set to take place in Rome on 24–25 February 2025. Hosted by our UniRoma3 partner, this event will mark the transition into the project’s second year. To ensure a productive and focused meeting, work package (WP) leaders convened online on 14 January to discuss the agenda and technical requirements.

During the meeting in Rome, participants will focus on the following objectives:
- Revisiting Objectives: Reflecting on the project’s goals and ensuring their continued relevance in light of current research and political developments.
- Strategic Planning: Identifying specific topics for Year Two, aligned with the work plan.
- Deliverable Clarity: Establishing a clear roadmap for upcoming deliverables, including milestones leading up to the 1st interim report in August 2025.
- Defining Strategies: Outlining actionable strategies at the project and WP levels to guide ongoing work.
Key Areas of Discussion
The annual meeting will dedicate special attention to several critical components:
- Conceptual Framework: Refining the project’s foundation to guide subsequent activities.
- Database and Model Portal: Advancing these tools to ensure accessibility and usability for stakeholders.
- Modular Modelling Toolbox: Enhancing tools to support the project’s analytical capabilities.
- Capacity Building: Supporting young researchers and researchers from non-participating partners through targeted initiatives.
