ACT4CAP27 Work Package leaders met on 16 December 2025 to reflect on project progress and to prepare the General Assembly meeting planned for March in Madrid.
The discussion focused on how project models can remain relevant for future agricultural and CAP policy needs, in light of emerging insights on future CAP developments and modelling gaps. Participants considered whether the modelling improvements foreseen in the work plan remain appropriate or may need adjustment.
Key topics identified for the General Assembly include findings from Deliverable D1.2, feedback from the RP1 review meeting, the development of fast-track and long-term scenarios, future scenario planning needs, and the use of the accelerator platform and modular modelling approach.
WP leaders agreed that the General Assembly should emphasise interactive formats, including small-group discussions and joint work on shared modules, to strengthen understanding across models.
The next WP leaders meeting is scheduled for 20 January 2026.
