WP6 Meeting | 3 December 2025

An online WP6 meeting was held today to review intermediate progress on the project’s four fast-track scenarios and to ensure alignment with the pre-approved scenario definitions. The objective of the session was to identify any early deviations, assess risks, and agree on a clear roadmap for delivering all scenario outputs in February 2026. Over the two hours of the meeting, partners presented achievements to date, shared emerging modelling results, and discussed key tasks still ahead.

Each scenario team provided a status update:

  • CAP Scenario: Policy Options under the “Vision for Agriculture and Food” — The team showcased early outputs and clarified the milestones to be achieved ahead of the February deadline.
  • Biodiversity Scenario — Preliminary results were presented, with work advancing according to plan. Remaining tasks focus on aligning outcomes closely with the benchmark definition and completing final model iterations.
  • Ukraine Accession Scenario — The team reported solid progress on scenario implementation, including initial results and a confirmed timetable for remaining modelling steps.
  • Sugar Tax Scenario — Intermediate findings were shared, reflecting ongoing work on the expected behavioural and market effects. The team outlined next steps for finalising model refinements.

The meeting concluded with a structured discussion on achievements, coordination needs, and the steps required to complete the remaining analytical work. WP6 partners confirmed the timeline and key milestones for the coming weeks to ensure the timely delivery of all scenario outputs.

The next WP6 meeting is scheduled for January 2026, where teams will revisit progress.
