The ACT4CAP27 Work Package 6 partners convened to discuss and agree on the work plan for the development of modelling baselines. Convened by Task Leader UPM, a structured timeline with clearly defined milestones was presented by Maria Blanco and discussed.
The work commences with the identification of baseline indicators and compilation of baseline drivers, foreseen for June 2026. Building on this, the testing of medium-term and long-term baselines for each model is scheduled for September 2026, allowing partners sufficient time to calibrate their respective modelling frameworks.
A dedicated phase for the integration of stakeholder feedback will follow in November 2026, ensuring that the baseline development process remains aligned with the expectations of relevant actors and end-users. Subsequently, a comparative analysis of baseline results across the different models is planned for December 2026, facilitating cross-model validation and knowledge exchange among WP6 partners.
The timeline concludes with the final reporting and dissemination of baseline results in February 2027, contributing to the project’s broader objectives of transparency and evidence-based policy support.
All partners expressed their agreement with the proposed roadmap, confirming their commitment to the outlined process and deadlines.
