We are preparing for the ACT4CAP27 Annual Consortium Meeting that will take place on 4–5 March 2026 at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Agronómica, Alimentaria y de Biosistemas (ETSIAAB), Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain.
As a consortium dedicated to advancing capacity and analytical tools to support the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) post-2027, we will use this meeting to discuss recent findings, refine our models, and strengthen collaboration across work packages.
Our objectives for the two-day meeting include:
- Reviewing the main points of CAP 2027 and assessing their implications for model adjustments.
- Reflecting on work package progress and determining whether adjustments are needed.
- Evaluating fast-track scenarios and their role in designing long-term scenarios.
- Exploring how modules can be linked to models using the Accelerator tool, with hands-on sessions.
- Engaging in small-team discussions on model-related topics to foster collaboration.
In addition to presentations, we will maximize opportunities for interactive discussions, with parallel sessions that allow rotation between topics. Plenary sessions will cover capacity building, stakeholder engagement, communication, dissemination, exploitation, and project management.
The meeting promises to be an essential forum for shaping the analytical foundations that will guide the implementation and evaluation of CAP post-2027, while strengthening the consortium’s collaborative efforts.
