The OECD’s annual Green Growth and Sustainable Development (GGSD) Forum returns on 2–3 July 2025, focusing on “Forests, agriculture and other land uses as a cornerstone of climate action”. With COP30 on the horizon, this edition aims to spotlight how forestry and agriculture can effectively combat climate change while supporting biodiversity, resilience, and rural economies.
Discussions will begin with a high-level opening session, featuring policymakers and industry leaders, followed by five thematic panels. Sessions will explore sustainable forest management; agriculture’s role in carbon sequestration and emissions reduction; innovations in productivity and nature-based solutions; data and measurement challenges; financing mechanisms; and links to rural development.
Designed for participants from government, academia, civil society, and the private sector, the Forum will identify research gaps and opportunities for cross-sector collaboration. Whether attending in Paris or online, participants will engage in informed debates aimed at advancing policy innovation and practical solutions for climate-smart land use.
Registration is open now — reserve your on-line place for the GGSD Forum by 22 June!
The registration deadline for physical attendance is 15 June 2025.
