WP1: Conceptual framework and analytical tools gap analysis

Main objective: Defining an overall conceptual framework of EU food systems for the identification of drivers, indicators and gaps in existing modelling tools to assess policy impacts

WP2: Coverage of economic, social, environmental and climate sustainability of food systems

Main objective: To develop a toolbox of health, environmental, social, and economic assessments modules that will be connected to the extended versions of the existing iMAP models in this project (AGMEMOD, CAPRI, GLOBIOM, MAGNET) and that can be used for stand-alone applications with associated databases to be developed.

WP3: Model structures for representation of agro-food systems and policies

Main objective: To extend the capacity of models to analyse critical urgent societal problems (CUSP) relating to agriculture, environment and food systems, in particular in the light of developments identified in WP1, using infrastructure developed in WP4.

WP4: ACT4CAP27 data and model portal

Main objective: WP4 develops the ACT4CAP27 Portal to ensure effective exploration and dissemination of the project results to the target stakeholders within and outside the consortium.

WP5: Modelling infrastructure and capacity building

Main objective: To increase transparency and coherence in model use to build trust and bring model-based evidence closer to policymaking.

WP6: Assessments of EU agri-food policies post 2027

Main objective: This WP aims to develop a comprehensive, effective, interrelated, integrated quantitative policy assessment for the CAP after 2027 and the future EU legal framework for sustainable food systems, using a two-step approach. A fast track will address important and timely issues using existing models, while the final track will incorporate modules developed in WP2 and WP3 and other improvements and expand models under the iMAP platform. The approach allows for structured repetition, addresses inconsistencies, and responds to new policy realities and data sources.

WP7: Stakeholder engagement and dissemination

Main objective: Stakeholder engagement, project external communication, D&E activities.

WP8: Management and Coordination

Main objective: To deliver a well-managed project to the Commission and all project stakeholders through:
